i went through the beginner bible thread, which helped a lot, but i still have a lot of questions! i'm sure these are all very lame questions, but i guess it's things that are common sense to anyone who knows what they're doing, but don't quite click with the rest of the world...
the list:
-first off, are there any good chick writers on here? don't get me wrong--i'm not a supercrazyfeminist, i was just wondering if i was alone...
-what's a good suface to make stencils on? the beginner bible said manilla folders, but they're too fibery, and frey really easily on small details
-what the hell does flick mean? as in "don't keep flicks around your house". i've managed to figure out almost everyone else on my own (as i'm not a total tool--promise), but i have no clue about that one...
-why don't you tag your school? i mean, any specific reason?
-any simple ink reciepes i should try? i have everything for the chapstick marker all set up, but i'm not sure what i should fill it with
-good markers for stickers?
-some fun spots in the middle of no where? i don't excactly have a lot of buildings near me to paste giant posters up onto--i live in suberbia connecticut.
use small words, my head may explode.
besides all that n00b stuff, i'm fairly excited. i live in the middle of blissful suberbia--no robo cops, and the entire town as chill space. i've done some little stencils here and there + painted some pretty good shirts, but nothing with stickers or bigger than 9in or so. wish me luck--anything else i should know about? all advice appreciated...
