Does anyone ever mess with actions on photoshop? great, great, great way to save time and energy. You can make your own custom actions for whatever, sizing, borders, whatever. Look into it, or ask me and I can try and help.
staying in the studio.

thank you for your criticism issac. i aprreciate it. Its good to hear others' point of view. when i wrote it i didnt feel as though i was being pretentious, but now i can see how it could be read that way. i wanted to put a quote that would give people an idea of what im about but i guess quoting my self seems a little dumb. oh well, it will stay for now until i find something better.
theo- are you in the services? is that how you are able to travel so much?
photo post coming soon.
-
just for funsake
-
sleet- number one is my favorite. get some borders up on there, itll make them look so much better.
go to parties, take photos of randoms.
-
i got a new bike
i went to santa cruz over the weekend
mountain biking country
-
sleet- pick a few man. 10 of the same subject get a little boring. 1 or 2 strong ones are a lot more powerful than 10 mediocre ones.
wheres everyone at?
back in a min with some photos
-
CONGRATS mannnng.
Non gonna be certified digitized. can you take the camera with you outside of school?
also, good advice for chie.
immerse your self in photography. the more you see and really examine, the more you will absorb and learn.
are there any community colleges or public art schools you couid take a photo class at? learn the most basic rules and work your way up. its like anything, you have to learn to walk before you can run.
but most of all, shoot a lot and have fun
Another note, speaking of good news. I got my website together and im pretty excited. email me if you like.

4th photo- yellows and oranges. sick abstract. reflection?
5th- sickkkk
6th- reds and blues. another reflection?
7th- jelious of seasons. thats why it sucks in LA. no color changes in fall.
rage- those black and white prints are pretty sick. those are just scanned prints rght? what kind of scanner are you using?
chie- a lot of those coming out under exposed. use a tripod?
-
issac, i actually did mean desaturate to B&W but I really like the way you muted the colors on the second set. Keeps the subject matter grim but the muted colors do it well. Almost gives it a holga vinetting effect---but better.
I like the first image more.
