  1. whats up with all the "niggaz" and "fag" talk on here?
  2. OH YES!!! approval RULES!!!!
  3. smart, no sounds are coming out of the computer generated by the korg. only the built in garageband keyboard, i dont need to amplify the signal, i can change input selections but i believe they are all properly placed, i am running through the board because the keyboard itself is not USB and everything i have read on this says i need an 'interface', and NO the korg does not have onboard sequencer.
  4. no, i didnt. i will have to try that today. everyone else, thanks for your time and ill get back to you with a progress or suicide report.
  5. this is exactly what i have. if someone would say "oh, that's all the right stuff you need to do this..." ORRRR "huh? thats never gonna work. whats wrong with you?" i'd be happy either way. something is gonna get smashed anyway.
  6. seeking, the korg doesnt have USB connection at all. everything ive researched said that basically an "interface" is the missing link between the keyboard and the computer itself. i wasnt even planning on using the mixing board for anything other than using it as a medium between the two. serum, i actually tried that a few times. thanks for your time.
  7. so, i know very little about this other than spending a shitload of money on equipment that i cant get to work properly. my current setup is a microkorg synth running (jack cables) into a behringer xenyx mixer ( i have it running into LINE 1 , but i dont know if this is correct). i have the cinch cables running output on the mixer (cd tape slot) into a behringer U -control box which is USB running into a macbook. i am fucking around with garage band just to start out but the program isnt recognizing any of the equipment. does anyone know why that would be, or any particular settings i need to change on the mac? i have the sound prefernce in my systems preference set up to USB audio in and i am getting NO response when i add a new track to garageband using software insrument (which is stated as the desktop keyboard OR other midi, usb, firewire device) . did i possibly buy the wrong mixer. is it not MIDI compatible? also, i was under the impression that it is a interface regardless and would work.i am losing my mind. ANY input is appreciated.
  8. to break it down: country music post early-80's is total shit with very few exceptions. if you are genuinely interested in hearing what good country is meant to sound like (and not what they are passing off today and making hank williams roll in his grave) check out.... -marty robbins (gunfighter ballads) -hank snow (railroad man or any album really) - anything by johnny horton -merle haggard (any album but definately mama tried) -john prine (the greatest hits album is all you need) -ralph stanley (smithsonian collection is dope) -lee hazlewood (trouble is a lonesome town) -woodie guthrie (dustbowl ballads) these are some of my personal faves anyway.
  9. on that AIDS wall, those windows look like a pain to paint around. for the future, someone should take a measurement of the frames and just cut a nice thick plywood and epoxy it into the area. the only way this would not work is if the business is being used and they need ventilation. they obviously dont care much about a view.
  10. why would someone write "fag" over that tre? thats wack. like if it said "GAY"... id be like "oh ok, they must know dude"... but fag?
  11. thats not what pisses me off. that shit is just as wack.
