TAKEITorSQUEEZEIT Posted August 27, 2011 Share Posted August 27, 2011 i honestly think jesus saves is more like a graffiti marketing genius. now if he's using graff as a way to spread gods word is a whole other story.but think about this,he chose a tag thats pretty catchy like a phrase. cause love it,or hate it,he's pretty much accomplished what every graff writer wants.(FAME!)he's all city,even if his shit is mad toy with no style at all. people read his shit,(regular people,graff heads.)he's known,people heard of him.i even seen those church people that be on the train stations, screaming "repent jesus is coming" rocking "jesus saves t-shirts"lol.. but yeah his style is whack..but you have to give credit where credit is due. this is not graffiti and any implication otherwise would be disrespectful to those of us who have dedication and have paid our dues this man was only in the game a couple years before he went legal if any of us did that we would be laughed at its one thing for someone who has paid there dues and spent mad years in the game to go legal but not a newjack with no street rep. but you have a point with the marketing idea which is why i put him in the same category as art fags, wheat pasters and hispters who draw silly faces and characters and not in the same category as those of us who rep real graffiti. and to say he is all city well i wount even get into that. but regardless id shake the mans hand and say whats up if i met em i dont have anything personal against em just saying how it is.
