Some people do this to transcend themselves and create something they find beautiful, something that might give them hope or satisfy their needs to express themselves. Other people get caught up in an mindless cycle of trends and 'being fresh'/cool/hot right now/whatever. You can tell the difference.

This. I find it really funny that everyone here bags on Water, but then they unduly praise a bunch of other artists who have scant more spirit than he does. This shit belongs in fashion week, not 12oz.
