On the real though... the Snarl/Pudl pieces are pretty fucking epic. They kind of have an immediate imposing impact that reminds me of that massive Swet piece from Bondi (mid/late 90's? I am bad with time). Also the scale makes me picture them on a classic NYC subway car :-) DOPE. Nice to see a wall with such history still getting the treatment it deserves.

Part of the problem seems to be the effects of commercialization of this culture... One of these pictures looks like a typical style of piece / advertisement for a 'graffiti paint brand'. These type of pieces are promoted heavily by paint companies with the intention of selling more paint. Twenty cans per piece makes them a lot more money than 5 cans per piece.

word... I think something that was once a culture, is now a 'scene'. Part of it does seem that it is all too easy these days. When you had to really really put in work for something, you appreciated it, respected it.
