The future of perth graffiti looks bleak, steadily progressing towards a really generic style.
People at the forefront of this 'new wave' will soon run out of ways to re-invent this 'style'; it requires minimal skill, creativity and ability, fancy coloured (premium aerosol) paint with an assortment of fat caps and no blackbook/s. Blackbooks? For lettering? Huh? Letters?
This may seem a narrow-minded and one-sided rant, but before you counter me, think.
Its fair to say alot of shit seen around lacks originality, but with many valid exceptions. Most stuff seen could be painted by anyone and everyone with tins. No?
