    There is a cutty spot on Powell and like 68th in the back of this store, not sure the name. But, they have the best tortas I've had out side of Cali. Order the torta de milanesa, the rez one. Its like 3.50 and its got basically the mexican version of chicken fried steak on it. So good.

    you know, i was just thinking the same thing the other day. i remember in 85 when shit started to get crazy in alberta park, well it was always crazy, but all of a sudden we had bloods and crips, so shit was popping off everyday. i would play basketball with fools from la that moved up, see them everyday, then theyd be gone, locked up. all of those dudes are getting out soon, and i hope they take back the neighborhood. i realize they wont know how to ride all the fixed gear bikes they are going to rob people for, but it warms my heart knowing its happening. i was born and raised right in the thick of it all, and it got soft, and that pissed me off. heres to a new northeast, the old northeast!! and no, not alameda, you faggots dont count, if you grew up there just give it up already, you lived in a nice place and youre white and youre trying to be a rap video, its getting silly.
