I hate to interrupt all this negativity with an observation but… The front page of the Dupont Current has an article about the renovation of one of my favorite murals in Adams Morgan. “A People Without Murals is a Demuralized People” broken English and all! Some non-profit called Sol & Soul got together $15,000 to put up scaffolding and pay a guy to re-spray paint the whole mural back to it’s 1970’s OG funkyness. Page 32 has a photo of the guy redoing it with a can of Krylon! Doesn’t he know that shit wont last! Adams Morgan’s Day, though a shriveled shell of its former self, is this Sunday, yall should go by and check it out.

This might be obvious to me because I get out of the house and uhhh actually enjoy looking at graf in the flesh, but who am I anyway??? Just some nobody who has seen it all… As for the current topic of who has skills in DC right now I would say Cave, Fire, Belev, and Rezist are the top talent of the moment. I’m really glad to see that Gay, Atoy, and Bobo the Magnificent Dick Rider have completely given up on style, you go girlz. for a minute it looked like they would try for some style but no… as for quantity its dope if you have style and taste, remember the later cast stuff? his shit got tight at the end, so it was cool to see a zillion of the same thows and tags. he crushed DC proper. didn’t make too many friends in the process but hey, he will always be respected for his ups. look what Bobo and Bore did for the bakery on that last page, trash-o-la. They can’t even rock a straight letter!
