it's a sketch, what's the problem with a first try? that's what sketching is all about, trying and failing. it's about a nice style, not that half-assed stuff you're uploading.
you should work on your handstyle too.
no- it's not about trying and failing- you should know how to use your letters and style without having to try 30 times to get it right- dead letters is what the battle is- if i wanted to spend hours colorin I could but not the point

pen freestyle- cant hide any defects with fancy colors and first try with a pen - it is sloppy but it wouldnt be real if I didnt post it...

I was in Tucson a few years ago and I caught a picture of a prodo downtown...
I think a dude named Equis was one of the pieces...
