    I don't think Sofles was the first person to incorporate all this nonsense. Seems to me that the only people putting it out there, are people that can actually pull it off (MSK FECK BERST SOFLES) etc. I think we should all just be grateful that little weak toys haven't started trying it yet.

     

    P.S: Yes, Goer bites an ENTIRE country.

    Aresk is a legal beagle art fag that lives over east somewhere and doesnt do ills... Heaps of people are after him supposedly or something like that last i heard.

     

    Theres really not that much semblence between goer and all this stuff. Sure, there's a few things, but its not a big deal. The guy can paint, just like everybody. He's not the best, not the worst but i reckon he goes alright. Who fucking cares anyway, somebody post some flicks.

    So if he's biting LA styles, it's ok? Because he doesnt bite the same stuff that the usual perthites do? Because it's 'agressive' looking? and not plush and cluddly like most of the euro shit?

    This whole biting thing has been blown way out of proportion. Your words aren't wise, you don't know what you're talking about.

    1. Firstly, with regards to your weak start comment, i started painting in late 99 early 2000 and have other words. Starting painting 11 years ago doesn't really seem like a weak start.
    2. Secondly, the only reason i posted flicks to begin with is because somebody posted a flick of a horrible drunk piece of mine, and i could not remove it so i just posted a few flicks that do my painting abilities a little more justice. I wish i never bothered, this saga is getting lamer by the word....
    3. Thirdly, you don't know me one bit. You don't know anything about me, where or how much i travel and/or get up apart from obviously Perth. You are basing what you said on your own bizarre beliefs that you made up out of nowhere for no reason other than to have something a little spicy to say. If you base your arguments on facts rather than random made up nonsense you might find your attempted insults and pointless banter more effective. Or at the very least true if nothing else. If i was trying to make an "attempt at getting fame by putting up flicks, implying that your up so much" i'd post my best flicks from my stashes.
    4. Fourthly, i am not going to post every single flick i have to prove a point. I don't paint to hear other peoples opinions, i paint because it feels good to paint. I like art, its fun and makes me happy. Most of my flick collection is for memories, not prop fiending, sometimes i trade with my friends and crews elsewhere.

     

    I hope this justification of my behaviour to you complete strangers is sufficient for stopping or slowing the extremely-quick "jump to radical and fictional conclusions and formulate pointless lies" disorder everyone here seems to suffer from.

    Why diss goer and his other crews when you like this one so much?

    Is it cos redrum are trendy and killing it at the same time?

    Or do you just not know what you're talking about?

     

    Everybody always hates on anything that is outside what is "known" or "known to be known", it's shallow. So many of you internet kids are followers (not referring to you specifically Alf). Try decide for yourselves whats what, be objective. Open your eyes and go see for yourself. Try appreciate peoples art for what it is and approach it with an open mind.. If you can't do that, maybe try find something to appreciate about it. See if there's any interesting shapes, angles or subtle effects. If you still think its wack, that's cool, but at least you had a proper scope of the work. I still like certain elements of work i don't actually like or by artists i don't like. For example, amuck's work (more specifically his style) makes me sick, but i can respect the fact that he's been paying dues for a long time and he is good at the actual act of painting. I can also find things in his pieces that it turns out i do like upon closer inspection. Normally i just see one and think "theres another gay amuck outline, that guy's a fuck head" and pay no further mind, but sometimes i see things he's done that i don't mind. I could write papers on stylistic flaws by artists i don't like, why their stuff is wack, whose style it may look like etc etc. But what would be the point in that? There isn't one. I have no need to push my ideas, thoughts or beliefs onto anybody else. But if you want me to tell you who i think your styles look like, or what isn't good about it, feel free to post some. It could be done to most writers, if not all. A critique can be a valuable gift if used properly.

     

     

    In any case, goer's likely objective continues to succeed, he's pissing you off and his word is stuck in your head. Any publicity is good publicity, right? I doubt he cares if you like his work, he most likely doesn't like yours either.

     

    I can't believe that i just wasted a few moments of my life to participate in this lame debate...
