Guest willy.wonka
all teachers? all of them? i think every teacher in the world should go "on strike" for one or two months..then the world will see how important they are and how we should pay them more than we pay bush....$666,666,666,666,666,666,666,666,666,666,666 for military funding. Guest Dr. Drew
my professors went on strike last year, the time off was great, but it sure sucked when we got back and had to have three hour classes to make up for lost time.

Guest BROWNer
i hesitate to call monday's action 'striking'... i mean, yea, but not really....i prefer a 'day of protest'...kinda the same.. anyhow.. they were never intending to go all out walk off for more than the monday, becuz, as we know, it was legislated for them to be working. i think they deserve more, but now that its been 'settled', i think some of the teachers need to buck up, cuz all the provincial jobs that are toast, those people are out of work, and the teachers did get a raise, so..........some of the law campbells govt put in this new deal is pretty fucked up though....dood has a lot of chutzpah... no limit class size, no specialty teachers for the special needs students.....its kind of a slap in the face... teachers put in mad work, more than most peoples 8 hour days. then on top of that they are supposed to go coach football or do whatever extra curricular's?? and i don't buy the argument that teachers should buck up becuz its one of those jobs that you do to do it for love..... its still a job, you put in work you should be paid for the work. Dr. Dazzle
You bastard. My teachers are on a seperate union. Fuck. That means my brother's going to be at home and give me that "you have to go to school and I don't" attitude. I better line my knuckles up, coz I know he's gonna get tons of beatdowns from my frustration..... And hit me up with an email, homes. Now your house arrest's over, we can go painting.....
