Now the Accord has low mileage but also has a bunch of wildly outdated tech in it. Here we don't get snow so the rust thing isn't an issue here except when you live on the coast then it may be something I would do. I have a peer like that - well technically a peer but dudes performance is dog shit. He has gotten better after a few huge fuck ups and some coaching from folks. Sometimes you just have to accept some people are morons or shouldn’t have been hired in the first place. But like @ndv says - if its an employee gotta let them go. I just got rid of a guy last week - kept doing the same shit despite me talking to him twice and me getting his supervisor involved about 6 months back. He runs the maintenance at all of these headstart programs for little kids. There are a ton of these things around here. Well anywho he's been on me to come price out a new job at a new facility they bought. I told him I was free Friday and an early morning appointment was best. So this dude is like I can do 10. "10? Okay bro! I'll be there early morning at 10." So my man Karl hits me up Friday morning at 830 to confirm that I'm going to be there. "Yessir. 💯 🔥 👍." I pulls up to this new school building in the middle of nowhere a few minutes early like I like to do and I feels my phone start to buzzing. I pull it out and I have a text from Karl. "Turn around. It's spring break and I can't get into the building." Nurga is you for real right now? You manage all of these properties. They're all on spring break right now. You know this cuz you've scheduled me for more work specifically during their spring break on another property! Now Im so far out in the country fuckin around with you that I have over an hour drive to my paying job that I need to finish up today.
