Dirty_habiT
I always watch with subtitles and I like the tv loud so I can clearly hear everything. Not so loud my neighbor can hear through the wall though. I do have ringing in my ears sometimes but I wouldn't say it's something I take notice of very often. Also several electronic devices have a really high pitch "humm" to them. Like.... TVs.
mr.yuck
I have the ringing in my ears 24/7. I learned to tune it out. Even if its dead quiet you can over ride it by listening to the sound of you breathing.
WorldBench
I listen to music to get to sleep that's how I've dealt with it for the last 15 years. I usually listen to like relaxing rain piano music. Like Mr. Yuck said you gotta learn to tune it out else it'll drive you crazy. They also make noise makers and pillow speakers to help you with sleep.

b0b
Yep another sufferer here. Like others have said generally you just get used to it. Notice it most when trying to get to sleep.
