Still some of the old classics on repeat and occasionally some ambient soundtrack of like birds chirping in the woods, but yeah. To be honest, I miss the days of running out to buy physical copies of music. Now it seems you don't even buy digital copies, but instead pay for a service in perpetuity thats like a fancy all knowing radio station. Was never a huge music lover (always been more visual), but kinda killed off what love I had for music. Or maybe I'm just not being exposed to new stuff that I can wrap my head around. music is a young mans game. I think most of us fell off where that’s concerned. I do like some of the new stuff but i don’t have the time or the patience to keep up with it or dig through all the releases to find the gems. 1
nicklesndimes 2,374
i honestly remember the days of often finding music through music videos on mtv...then going out to buy a physical copy of it to listen to in the car driving around with friends, at parties, etc... it seems like the medium of music delivery has changed dramatically over time and i really have no idea how people find actual new music these days. where does it come from now.....radio? youtube? streaming platforms? honestly not sure.
Dark_Knight 891
I miss going to record stores and talking to people about music. Learning new tunes from word of mouth... It’s cool having the world at your finger tips... but there’s no adventure in it. No thrill of discovery. 2
