Question on Caps

Recommended Posts

What caps are considered best for throw ups, straight letters and pieces? I’ve experimented with fat caps, ny fats, Astro fat, and rusto stock caps. But typically for ME those have only been good for tags as far as my personal skill level goes being a newer writer.

Honestly I just feel like my choosing hasn’t been best. If anyone has recommendations for what’s caps are best to not get as much over spray, thinner lines, etc.. it’d be much appreciated!

NY-outline was always my favourite for controlled but semi-thick lines

Banana Yellow is another favourite, but clogs up faster in my experience

But get one of each you can find and find whats your flavour!

Rusto fats for bombing and tags - NY Thins for pieces. Personal preference.

I know there's tons of new caps for the new paints out there that will rival both of those caps but sometimes that phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rings true... this is one of those times.
