DETO Posted September 19, 2019 Share Posted September 19, 2019 THE 4 OF US (MY FAMILY) WERE T BONED BY A SUBURBAN GOING AT LEAST 50mph A FEW WEEKS BACK. 3 OF US WERE AMBULANCED TO THE HOSPITAL. THANKFULLY MY DAUGHTER WAS LEFT WITHOUT A SCRATCH. MY STOMACH, ABDOMEN AND KNEE ARE STILL BRUISED MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AFTER. MY WIFE IS STILL BRUISED AND SORE AND MY SON GOT THE WORST OF IT. MESSED UP HIS KNEE (SOCCER AND ANY OTHER SPORT ARE OVER FOR THE YEAR). SHIT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE FOR US. WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE. A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT HE AND ONE OTHER KID WERE ASKED BY LEAGUE OFFICIALS TO PLAY UP TO THE U14 LEAUGE (HE'S 11) AND HE WAS SO EXCITED, (THEY'RE BASICALLY THE KIDS ON HIS TRAVELING TEAM) AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. COOL THING IS HIS NEW COACH WHO IS ALSO HIS TRAVELING TEAM COACH IS LETTING HIM BE HIS "ASSISTANT" AT PRACTICES AND GANMES SO HE STILL FEELS HE'S PART OF THE TEAM. I have been in 3 totaled cars, 1 being a head on collision (65mph vs 40 mph, so what is it they say, i basically hit a a wall doing 110?) and a totaled motorcycle wreck that almost amputated one of my legs, i know the pain. Got hit by some kid fucking with his cell phone a whlie back, lucky to see it coming at the last minute and at least prevented him from hitting the passenger side, caught the front of the car though. Wasn't in a crosswalk, wasn't at a light, just walked out. The kid hit her and she started flipping out. A couple people who were passing stopped and waited for the cops (chick called the cops,) and basically told the cop my coworker didnt do shit wrong and this chick was a fucking moron and just walked out into the toad.
