misteraven Posted June 3, 2019 Author Share Posted June 3, 2019 Been a minute since I posted in here, so figured I'd circle back and drop some updates... Things are moving along really well. We've been learning a ton on every job and quality and speed has been growing exponentially on each job we put up on press. This last week, we printed the first half of a pretty fair sized order (1500 tees, 800 sweatshirts) and got through it relatively quickly. Can't say we're running as fast as an established shop, but can say with confidence that the quality of our output is far better than what I'd been receiving back when I was a client paying for screen printing. Also, a bunch of new stuff dropping for 12oz soon. This will be the first actual collection in that I'm printing enough to let the stuff live on the site for a while, rather then the hype releases we've been doing up to this point. Also have some really cool hats, our first, that will be dropping soon, as well as some really awesome new packaging for the patches we're doing. Also working on a forum specific tee to sort of spotlight / celebrate the forum and you all (more details to come on that). Anyhow, slowly but surely ramping up. That said, if anyone needs or knows someone looking for quality screen printing... Shoot me a DM. Learned a ton doing it and confident I could already tighten it up further despite it looking really great in person. Was told by our service rep that not a lot of print houses do this well and that there’s ones that have been printing for years that couldn’t pull it off. Anyhow, super psyched with the overall design and execution. Yeah, was definitely a challenge, but we're also very new to this. Part of the difficulty is all the prep work thats required and how long that prep work takes, before you even get a chance to see what it'll print like. I'm 100% sure if we ran this graphic again, that I could improve upon it. Might run it another time or two for myself just to test some theories and learn a bit more so I can apply that to future photo tees. Technically we started doing client work back in January for friends that didn't want to wait, but now its official. Anyhow, working to establish a solid roaster of good clients and steady work, so if you're somehow involved in purchasing screen printing or know of anyone that has a brand or business or might be looking for quality printing, please drop me a PM and I'll send you a PDF deck I just completed that recaps everything and shows recent work. Doesn't matter if its local, but probably only feasible to do work in the USA. For now, at teh very least I'm typically matching credible invoices and vendor quotes, all in, including shipping and 100% (if not saving people some money) and absolutely delivering better quality.
