bigpoppa.k Posted January 21, 2002 Share Posted January 21, 2002 nortons is good, so is tech tool pro.. the only thing is you can't defrag your drive if you've only got the apps. you need to boot up from the actual cd. it'll defrag all your files but because your disk is use, won't defrag that. there are ways around it though.. i just spent about a week solid cleaning my machine from a total meltdown so i'm very well versed in the art of hard disk manipulation right now. need more info gimme an email..
