everydamnsunday
Hello my name is Matthew Stojko I live in Adelaide Australia. Please give me your thoughts/feedback on my new aerosol cap. Ive been working on it for a few years now I have created an Aerosol Airbrush. It's a cap for male and female aerosol cans the works like a double action airbrush. You can control the flow of paint through the cap on the fly. The cap will have an interchangeable tip, valve and stem. so you can mix and match to find the best control for different can pressures and paint thicknesses. It is made from strong and reusable aluminium, you can use graffiti remover (acetone in a can) to clean it on the fly or fully disassemble it and clean it out after prolonged use. It also has an adjustable threaded ring at the bottom of the cap that works to control how far the aerosol can valve is pushed down inside the can and also doubles as a stabilizer as you pull the trigger back and forth. I am crowd funding it now at http://www.pozible.com/aerosolairbrush and if it reaches the goal I hope to me shipping them in February 2015. let me know your thoughts and any changes/ideas you may have cheers guys sorry couldn't upload any photos

Hua Guofang
Yeah, link is fine. I respect the ingenuity and all but I'm not a fan. I'm conservative in terms of graf and even think the huge range of caps we have now days is cheating (don't even get me started on dudes taping stuff out or cutting up lids to get effects). I like the skill that's needed to get quality, it's part of the game and making it easier just degrades the achievement and that whole graf thing. I used to love scouting around for different caps and finding cans that were at the sweet spot for fine work, etc. Taking that out of painting takes out half the challenge, achievement, fun and mystique. theprotester
I guess now there is a skill in cutting up nibs to make effects, though? I have zero time for that shit, but if that's what you're seeing when you enter into graff then why would you think it any different? Fist 666
I think the idea has potential with the art fag types. I can't see it ever being used for anything other than mural type pieces. $40 for a cap? Not a chance I'd pay that even with the option to clean it and make it last. Also, everydamnsunday: Its clear that you don't have real "can control" (lololol) to begin with. Maybe if you could get someone who does actually know how to paint, you could demonstrate what its actually capable of. You've got a couple Aussies already in this thread that I'm quite sure would enjoy a promo product to verify whether or not its a hunk of shit or not. CILONE/SK
I am going to file for a patent first. Steal your idea, yo.
allfreetime
I think it's an interesting idea and awesome you actually made it. But I think the problem you're trying to solve is not having to switch caps. With this you'd have to switch this special cap between each can. Even more switching. Unless you roll with like 15 of these things and never drop or lose one.

I'm down with taking elmers caps and being a traditional "real man" graff caveman etc, butt fuckit. efficiency out there is what matters. crushing>validating your og graff hobbyist status
