I've never really feared for my life over anything and that shit was enough to end my little tryst with vandalism. My qualm with the "check your privilege" shit is that the only times I ever actually hear it its coming from Jewish American Princesses that have more money in their bank account than I'll make in possibly my lifetime, have parents that have more education and more money than myself or my family have ever had or will ever make, and just generally don't actually have any idea of what a non-privileged life looks like in the first place. Spending a summer abroad in Costa Rica working on some bullshit organic farm and actually taking jobs away from the locals is their comprehension of struggle.
