Guest
Didn't know the Headquarters was getting the ax, that sucks. I mean the place is a vile dive, but I've had a lot of fun in there. On a side note, I would not want to be one of the demo crew, you couldn't pay me enough to touch the carpet in there. yea its def one of the most gutter bars ive ever been to. but prob my fav spot there i got back home last night and told a buddy at work today about HQ and his comment had something to do with the carpet too. must be a whole lotta puke on that shit. also, no more pigs in space. whole top floor of the depot is closed off. i have a suspicion the health department got involved. they had the worst draft beer situation that ive ever seen/tasted. Guest
airports are great for people watching but when i am delayed i'm mostly just looking at people i want to murder, which is everyone in my vicinity un planned delays are the worst i like a few hours of planned layover though i dont think many people feel the same way
Schnitzel
Planned layovers rock In seoul Korea you could do little tours etc which was fun. I did a little one to a temple I wanted to walk to stretch my legs and tire myself out for my next leg so I walked up and down the terminal for 4 hours worked out to about 7 miles all up with breaks for internet etc ( 11 laps)

bigdoughnut69
So many hot chicks crawling around the airport man Ftw This. Although my experiences are mostly in large airports so no idea how it is in the connecting, smaller hubs. Most ladies get really done up when they fly. Singapore is good is you can beat the old asain ladies for the massage chairs. think the sunflower garden is now a cactus garden....Or maybe it's the other way round.Never saw the movie theatre but way too paranoid I'd fal asleep so wouldn't use it. Bangkok airport has a hotel between the runways that rents rooms for 24 hours not nights -sleep get up breakfast paint beers back to hotel in afternoon on to flight was a great 24 hours in BKK Most ladies get really done up when they fly. :shook: don't go to any domestic airport in autsralia your illusion will get shattered. !@#$%
Bangkok airport has a hotel between the runways that rents rooms for 24 hours not nights so does Sao Paulo worked well for a 9 hour layover in the middle of the night
CILONE/SK
What were the rates for 24hr?
!@#$%
for sao paulo, it was very expensive. we paid $80 for 9 or 10 hours. they have bathrooms separate from the rooms, the rooms have one small bed or a bunk bed and a tv. smaller than a college dorm. the bathrooms are cleaned after every use by a 24 hour cleaning staff. we were there from about 2am to 11am or so and there were 3 on duty. the alternative would have required a cab to and from the airport and not much of a cheaper hotel so we were mainly paying for convenience. ....................................................... i also forgot about Dubai's airport spectacular and the best part? they know flights arrive and depart at every ungodly hour of the day, so they have full recline chairs all over the terminal and the shops tend to be open 24 hours unlike so many airports. the chairs
