Guest Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Re: im watching this plumber go to FUCKING TOWN on my kitchen ceiling i waited til dude went out to his truck to take a flick of the damage to send to my chick he was chasing a leak that had started bubbling the paint on the ceiling and dripping i guess a line that runs to the washer hook ups in that closet started leaking where a 3/4" and 1/2" met so funny now that you mention the fridge size i see that it is pretty narrow never noticed it before haha we always have trouble fitting all our groceries in there i think two cases can fit in the bottom i dont think this will effect our deposit called the property mgmt as soon as we noticed and they sent this guy over he said he saw water damage til about the middle off the fridge another guy should be coming to repair the damage tmrw or tues im hoping this doesnt turn into a giant cluster fuck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I paid a guy to fix my ceiling once because it was cheaper then doing it myself. That includes the texture. With you renting, you should not worry about your deposit at all. Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Re: im watching this plumber go to FUCKING TOWN on my kitchen ceiling I had a similar problem back in the day.. it took our landlord about 2 months to send someone to fix the leak that started out as a small drip in our ceiling and ended up causing a hole that was about 5 feet in diameter from the ceiling collapsing under all the water. someone took a drip pan out or something like that and it caused all that damage. anyways the landlord was supposed to pay for it by deducting it from our rent. but when we paid the rent (minus the deduction) they evicted us for not paying in full and then moved in their daughter who doesn't work and spends all day poppin pills and smoking dust lol. fuckin slum lords, anyways hope you don't have the same problem.. as long as you're not in the hood or something you probably don't have to worry to much about dealing with those type of shitty people.
