Fist 666 Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 i'm sure i'm not the only one who has had one or is going through one. i'm simultaneously thrilled and terrified of whats next. its all happening on civil terms in an attempt to maintain friendship and avoid the eventual hating of each other. Fist 666 Posted September 25, 2012 Author Share Posted September 25, 2012 yeah keeping my truck and one of the dogs. the bone dome trailer is mine. i'm also keeping the grill. like she knows how to use it. as for assets: about $50k in savings to split. she's keeping the house (which is so fucking upside down... but she bought it before me, so thats on her anyway). both have some college debt. probably split the cash 55/45 as she's keeping more responsibility. might do 40/60 even. she's worked in family law in the past and has pretty good knowledge of how to get it done on the cheap. as long as things stay civil we'll avoid lawyers. seems like a real possibility at this point.
