SMdoubleXL
It’s insanely resilient. Hey girl
mr.yuck
So I guess I will drop a lil bit of knowledge to the best of my understanding on what's going on with my plants as I update. In the above picture you can see what looks to be yellowing at the tips of the leaves. It's actually kind of tan and maroonish in spots. It's a magnesium deficiency. Due to a chemical reaction that I don't fully understand or worry about, I doubled the amount of calcium in my reservoir and solved the shit out of that problem.
SMdoubleXL
This chart is v useful. the pH of your water will determine if and how much your plant will uptake or lock out certain nutrients we keep it usually at 6.2 but 5.8-6.4 is a good range
mr.yuck
@SMdoubleXLI keep my plants between 5.8 and 6. On the lower end it makes sense that I would need to feed heavier with calcium. I use gypsum as my source of calcium and with it comes a pretty heaping dose of sulfur. I'm trying to find that sweet spot where I'm feeding the girls heavy but not so heavy that I'm literally just throwing nutes away.

Hey while I got you cornered here, I dredge through a lot of bro science and folk lore trying to come to a better understanding of this plant. Can you tell me if Calcium and Sulfur are the main drivers of terpene profiles?
SMdoubleXL
I cannot. I don’t come out of the nursery enough to work with the flowers. But this is something I can def ask.

mr.yuck
Day 5 of flower. Doing some light defoliation and tying down some side branches to let the sunshine in to the middle of the plant. She's gonna love it. Also broke off a main branch a couple weeks ago and threw it in the cloner. Didn't use any rooting hormone, just tap water and bubbles. She's looking starved and sick now but she'll bounce back. She always does. Hoping to see these bigger plants start throwin some pistils in the air over the weekend.

Beginning with lower leaves first. It’ll eat them up. Remove when 0-25% green is left. When it’s not rooting, it’ll show at the apical meristem. mr.yuck
@SMdoubleXLthat fool is toast. Fucking, the god damn drain pump in the controller bucket came loose and made it's way in front of the water exit hole blocking the 6 plant buckets from filling all the way. I fixed that problem and tried giving her some cpr by dumping water on her from above. Ive uncrispified some plants before, but this one is mad young for that kind of abuse.
