100%juice Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 ebay has upped selling costs by quite a bit.. not sure it would be worth it. personal decision I guess.. I just sold my macbook pro on there for 800 and ebay taxed me 75 bucks of that 800 for fees. the listing fees were small.. like 3 bucks. but they charge like 9% of the total sale cost. I cant speak for you but my theater is worth enough that losing 9% to ebay plus 3% to paypal for processing the payment that it wouldnt be worth the 12-15% loss.. as far as a direct answer to your question.. you can box your gear up, put it on a bathroom scale.. and put that weight in a shipping calculator online from fedex or ups or where ever. then set a flat rate advertised on your ebay ad based off of your costs.
