For the record, I think that this law is whatever, and I bet it's going to make up a couple really flimsy defenses about shooting cops that won't hold up for a second in court. I feel nothing one way or the other on it. Plus, even if they're within the law shooting a cop, the other cops there will probably kill them anyway. You said that "you and me don't usually agree when it comes to cops". So I read that as being as the Florida shit was the only thing that you agreed with me on when it comes to cops. Am I arguing with you, or are you arguing with yourself? As far as "taking a long look at what really happened here" goes. What really happened is that a comon sense law was passed and people like you are trying to find fault with it strictly because it was passed by Republicans. Which I can whole heartedly understand where you's are coming from. Fuck Republicans and everything that they stand for. Except in this instance.
