When the reporter mentions "all criminals will have to do is run home and then defend themselves, and they can get away with it," he makes a pretty good point. People will misinterpret the law to fuck with cops doing the right thing. But it's also fucking good that cops wont be able to abuse their power so easily now. For the record, I think that this law is whatever, and I bet it's going to make up a couple really flimsy defenses about shooting cops that won't hold up for a second in court. I feel nothing one way or the other on it.
