What is the best part of your day?

 

 

 

 

 

Is it clocking out and knowing your done with work?

 

Maybe going home to see your gorgeous wife or girlfriend?

 

Maybe for some of you picking up your kids from school

 

Or seeing your pet when you get home

 

Maybe for a couple of you it's actually helping a customer and getting a genuine 'Thank You :-)'

 

Driving home with the radio on and the windows down

 

Mowing the law of the house you worked so hard to get

 

Probably smoking that first bowl of the day

 

Catching tags on the bus ride home from school

 

BBQn' dinner?

...

 

 

 

 

 

Well me,I'm a simple guy.

The best part of my day, every day

 

Is getting home from work sore and stinking

Stripping off the steel toes

And enjoying a

Nice

Frosty

Beer in a hot steamy shower.

I love dark heavy beers. Stouts, porters, II IPA, etc etc

But over the years I've learned that those aren't always the best shower beers.

For me, the best thing is a light and thirst quenching, refreshing beer.

So when I go shopping I usually get a 12 pack of something nice and tasty and a case of something cheap and light.

 

I know from mentioning doing this to a few friends at work that it may seem kinda weird to drink in the shower...

But for those of you who've had beers in a jacuzzi, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Several best times of the day.

Clocking out of a shit ass job is huge.

 

Knowing youre on the way to a sexy ass bitches house whose trying to fuck is another good part of the day.

 

Lemme think about this shit for a minute.

Picking up a fat sac(/nh) of tumbleweeds and heading to chill with the fellas is a damn good feeling as well

Friday night finish up of work is always a winner. When I was OS my Friday night consisted of a sushi bar, normally by myself with a few beers at a window of the bar strip that was just starting to come alive. After that I went to my fav bar where there were always friends around, cool music, awesome bar staff (two of the hottest Chinese dragon ladies), legit booze and $3 Moscow Mules. That was a hell of a way to end a week.

 

Now I enjoy BBQing a steak on a weekend with the wife and kicking back with a few beers sketching out and watching some old 70s movies on TV.

 

I fucking love it when my wife walks through the door.

 

 

Also, beer in the shower after you've been out in the bush for three weeks without so much as taking off your shoes was indescribable pleasure back in the day.

 

 

 

* oh yeah, Sunday morning eggs benedict at a chilled cafe with the Monkey Wife, mad coffees and a good book is just golden.

 

Getting on my Cannondale single speed and ripping through the kick arse trails near my joint is fucking phenomenal.

 

Chillin at the beach with serious golden sand near my parent's place with the wife is also pure living.

 

 

 

I could go on forever. No matter how much life sucks sometimes the good times and the ability to enjoy simplicity and purity make the bad times almost meaningless.

First beer of the day is definitely up there.

 

Another great one you mentioned is driving home blasting tunes with the windows down .. This is great after you've finished everything for the day and its warm with a nice breeze.

I dunno this isn't that exciting but on a day off I love taking a long ass shower in the morning and making breakfast while feeling all clean and shit and checking the news, knowing that I don't have to do anything wildly responsible throughout the day.

 

I'm going to be moving to Europe for several months on Saturday though, so maybe my answer will be more interesting (at least from my perspective) a few weeks from now

I like my job too but come Friday evening I'm definitely ready for a break from it, or even simply having the choice at what pace I work at or where I choose to focus given that my work is also one of my pass-times anyway.

Walking the dogs first thing in the morning when it's still and quiet and there's no one else around. Watching them just run around, not a care in the world. Bliss

A morning blowjob followed by breakfast and coffee in bed. Although this isn't a regular occurence..

 

Those relaxing couple of hours on a Friday afternoon where you've finished the days work and the evenings festivities havn't started yet..

 

Any morning where you wake up naturally rather than from some obnoxious alarm clock.
