jay z had to sell out and change his sound and lyrics to make it big. compare reasonable doubt to the black album. reasonable doubt, his first album was solid gold, and the black album pretty much sucks. whereas nas stayed true and made it big anyway.

NAS LOST.

LIVE ON WQHT HOT 97.1 NYC

On the Mix Show with Angie Martinez with special guest Funk Master Flex. They announced over the air that they would be playing Either by Nas and Superugly by Jay-z for the purpose of simulating a battle. Afterwards they requested that people call in and vote on who won. Of course it ended up in Jay-z having one or two votes out of around ten call ins. With nothing left to do but call it, It was unwillingly announced by radio cock jockeys Angie and Flex that Nas was the winner.

Still they tried making up excuses for Jay-z rambling on about all kinds of scenarios of other simulations in hopes of getting a public dispute Nas's overdue victory.

Live on pay per view ?/ never happen

Both of them on the same bill?/ egoes will never allow it

SMACK DVD?/ Now that sounds official !
