I have been sober for 10 months now and I'm a member of a 12step program.. I work steps, I chair meetings, I have a sponsor...

Recently I took a trip to new orleans and I did some graffiti while I was down there... Didn't tell my sponsor. I don't feel like I owe an amends for it though, either. I'm pretty sure I can stay sober and keep doing graffiti.

I was born and raised in Chicago and I have been getting up since 2005 although I did my first tag (with paint actually) in aprox. 2002. So needless to say, graffiti is a part of my life.

I now live in a city with no graffiti and I want nothing more than to crush this city. I have painted a little here but I am afraid to paintbecause people in recovery know that graffiti is a part of my story and I don't want my identity revealed. I also don't want to do time for painting, which would surely happen here.

Anyway I haven't told my sponsor about my desire to keep doing graffiti. I want to continue to work a 12 step program but I also want to continue painting. Has anybody on here been in this boat before? Anybody with any experience that can give me some insight? Thanks!

Haha I'm not into all that religion bullshit... C'mon yo I was trying to start a serious thread. I'm not a fucking toy, niggas know, can we keep this thread on topic please?

Damn you got mad years in the game son:lol: you are afraid to paint and you snitched on yourself by telling people in your program...my diagnosis=toy, niggas know:lol:
