My memory is appalling for things like that im afraid. i haven't been a "bar tender" in years now, so im not sure why that came up. once upon a time i worked in many a pub / bar / club, then i moved onto managing them. I'm on my very absolute last leg with these people because of attendance issues. Tomorrow's meet with the HR guy will decide my future with the organization. It's a federal job. It's hard as assholes to get a single day off, the general guidelines are shit, the usual micro-over-managing of the worker ants and I've been part-time for 4 years. So I really see no further future. I will say that $18/hr probably cannot be made any easier than moving and handling baggage. nh. With enough savings to last a few months and another couple checks being paid my vacation time, the plan is to cruise n lamp out for a month while casually job searching. Close homeboy has a mon-fri desk job at an oil parts co lined up for me as soon as they fire a slow older bitch. Could be a month to a few months+ One life ruined, another life made. Is it your company or the company you work for? Either way, you shouldn't dwell on it too much and focus on what you should do to move forward. You're not getting attacked by a lion, so don't overreact in any given situation. Weigh your options carefully (and strategically, if applicable). Take anything and everything into consideration. Sacrifices will be made whether you like it or not, so choose wisely. :) To prepare myself, I have a habit of always thinking the worse case scenario for a lot of things. Things never go according to plan, but it calms me down enough to asses the situation rationally. A velociraptor won't attack me from the bushes, but shit...it's fun coming up with retarded scenarios sometimes too. At any rate, the dude Lawrence in my first post quit working. His last day was Friday. edit: Ha. I just reread your post and realized I did my own thing. My b. Let me add a little more to that ish. But yeah, bankruptcy sucks. I've never been in that situation before but I wouldn't sit around and mope; that's for damn sure. After some more digging, he found porn clips in her music folder. Yung Berg didn't know what to do so he contacted Advice Dog and got him up to speed with the situation. Because Advice Dog and Hipster Kitty were friends outside of work, he told Yung Berg to burn the folders onto DVDs so he can give them to her and to delete the folders off the computer/server afterward. Hipster Kitty hasn't gotten back with Advice Dog as to when would be a good time for them to meet up so she can get her flicks and music. At the end of the day, Advice Dog went to check if the files were deleted. They weren't. Curious, he decides to check the properties and see if any folders/files were recently accessed and saw they were last accessed a few minutes earlier. We have a sales rep have half her placenta spill out while sitting at her desk. She claimed she never knew she was pregnant. I always saw her smoke cigarettes, drink energy drinks, and eat junk food. She always looked miserable in the mornings too. I was wondering if she was pregnant the entire time and my suspicions were confirmed.
