Google "Hooves on the Turf." They have a series of mixes I enjoy...mostly indie rock if that's your thing. I listen to a lot of stuff that most people on here would probably be quick to write off.

heres some albums i hope you might enjoy.

sonic youth- evol

vitalic- ok cowboy

santogold & dilpo- top ranking

empire of the sun- walking on a dream

modest mouse- sad sappy sucker

bright eyes- the peoples key (not all whiney and emo like their previous stuff)

yeah yeah yeahs- rareites and remixes (not an actual album, but a good torrent collection that can be easily found)

ghostface killah- the broiled salmon mixtape.

yuksek- any album

broken social scene presents kevin drew: spirit if...

descendents- liveage

tv on the radio- ok calculator (or any other album, you cant go wrong.)

daniel johnston-yip! jump music or songs of pain 1 & 2

last but not least.

cowboy bebop- complete soundtrack discography

trust me on the last one, its a big download but worth it, the band who makes all of the music for the series is an experimental band from japan called the seatbelts.

they have no real sound, theyre all over the place from acid jazz to blues to shoegzing-esque to pop to instrumental.

songs to really listen to from them:

space lion

memory

goodnight julia

trust me give em a shot.
