I'd like to be in touch with other fools who are into this shit as well, either it be fellow DP's, directors, art directors, editors, actors, or even someone with after effects skills who are down to maybe do some collaboration work possibly at some point. If you in the field you know this but if not and you got some skills in video production we should come up and lets try to get something rolling... This line may sound cheesy but "It about time we shine, lets get on something" Like I said if you know this field you already know networking is how this shit works, If anyone possibly down for a collab hit this shit up and lets get some ideas flowin! No money, no desire to invest any money, no love. Being a 2nd AC for 3 years for jobs averaging no fucking money is not fun or inspirational. Tiresome world run by idiotic producers who have no money and dont care about paying up even when they do. Slaves are more expensive than british film crews. pornbooth Posted August 11, 2011 Author Share Posted August 11, 2011 Good luck pornbooth, I was going to sign up but didnt have time :( thanks! and bummer... i was a camera operator and we had a pretty long day shooting saturday, got up at 4am and didnt get home till after 1am. in the end production went very smooth we had a good fucking crew. We submitted our film with 9 minutes to spare, the screening was tonight but I couldnt make it so hopefully we get a spot in the top 15 and it will screen again on friday i believe. the top 3 groups who usually take the wins didnt submit their films in time and they were disqualified so we have a chance!
