This was just discovered in Mexico. Guess it was Chapo Guzman's grow operation. 120 Hecta-acres.

Bunch of People's gonna die over this fuck up. My Spanish isn't the best so if anyone can translate any of the important parts, have at it.

I just learned my phone does the pinch zooms only I don't pinch..

When my phone is sideways in landscape mode I use both thumbs and do the actions as if I am opening or closing the labia of a vagina.

My Spanish isn't a whole lot better, but from what I can gather, they were growing weed and then they were going to sell it.

i don't understand why the cartels still put any money into marijuana.

It's pretty much legal in enough states that indoor is available everywhere

at relatively decent prices. However, it's still illegal in Mexico and the

size of this operation (300 acres) is impressive anywhere. Plus, it's in

the middle of the desert where there was no running water and the peasants

tending the crops had to dig down pretty deep to get to water to keep 300

acers of plants alive. It was the biggest in the history of Mexico.

I can't figure out why the cartels wouldn't just put their money into

speed, coke, and smack. It's more profitable, and size-wize, easier to transport

more of it without the super odor like weed has. Somone still wants it if that size

operation exists. Some cop/federale, or military must not have gotten his payment

cause an operation like that shouldn't have been operating that long without it getting

out.

Weed is legal for personal use in all of Mexico.

It is illegal to grow though.

I'm sure they were making enough money off of this weed to make it worth growing in the middle of nowhere.

They're businessmen, br0.

They still sell nicks of dirt weed in the projects. There will always be demand for bud you can get for $20 a quarter, even though most people have moved on

Sources of drugs

Mexico, a major drug producing and transit country, is the main foreign supplier of cannabis and a major supplier of methamphetamine to the United States.[21] Almost half the cartels revenue come from cannabis.[43] Although Mexico accounts for only a small share of worldwide heroin production, it supplies a large share of the heroin distributed in the United States.[21][44] Drug cartels in Mexico control approximately 70% of the foreign narcotics that flow into the United States.[45]

The US State Department estimates that 90% of cocaine entering the United States transits through Mexico, with Colombia being the main cocaine producer,[46] followed by Bolivia and Peru.[47] Reports indicate that Venezuela has clearly become a major transshipment point for illegal drugs leaving Colombia.[48][49][50][51][52]
