SwampFightOner
OK Don, I change my mind. I'm gonna be perfectly willing to pay full price for my drinks, just so I don't have to deal with a drunken oontz stampede. In fact, charge me extra

john_gacy
You can get to Williamsburg or Greenpoint pretty easy from Manhattan if you can withstand the hipster culture that has invaded it, see some walls and shit.
earl broclo ESQ
There's a bunch of legal walls off the Morgan stop on the L. You can also try Roberta's while you're there. http://www.robertaspizza.com/ That stop is the hipster hot spot for loft living, but Roberta's is worth a try. If you do go there, I'm giving you a photohunt mission. Walk around the area and look for a wall that has some neon green on it and flick the tag "Mexican Niggars." It's around the corner from Roberta's and close to one of the entrances to the L. (Clue: The one you can buy an MTA card at.)

earl broclo ESQ
The website makes it look good, I'm interested as well. Food is my favorite thing about this city that smells like a homeless taint. If you want to eat and drink well on a budget, go to Edo Sushi in Union Square. http://www.yelp.com/biz/edo-japanese-restaurant-new-york-2 I don't know how much longer they'll be doing this, but they have 50% off all beers when you order food. You can get the spicy sushi combo (3 rolls) for $12.00 then drink Asahi for $2.50. The spicy combo is my go to there. They also have some good signature rolls as well. publicenemyno.3
earl was spot on recommending death and company. hella good drinks, cool atmosphere and good service. it also wasn't too far from red bamboo, which dr. scientist recommended. the vegetarian fried chicken was pretty good but the service was kinda shitty.

FastFinisher
I made it to IppudoNyc a couple weeks ago. It was good food but a long wait. Next time I go I probably won't wait till Saturday night at 9ish it will probably be an earlier dinner or a later one. I do say give it a try if you haven't been yet.
