This shot was taken on film that expired in 1973. A nice benching spot, if you don't mind shooting between a 4-inch gap in a fence. Which I don't. Fontana, aka as Fontuckey, thanks to the NASCAR race track. Gotta love the hobo tunnels in Colton. Defiant shopping carts of Rialto. Cajon Pass, where stackers go to hold hands. Slab City is out near the Salton Sea in the Imperial Valley. It's further east of the Inland Empire. And south too. The area the Salton Sea is in is fascinating and depressing and a photographer's dream.
