I saw a SSS flier in the post office today, I have never noticed these before.

WTF?

WHO MUST REGISTER

Almost all male U.S. citizens, and male aliens living in the U.S., who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service. It's important to know that even though he is registered, a man will not automatically be inducted into the military. In a crisis requiring a draft, men would be called in sequence determined by random lottery number and year of birth

Apparently " A person has 30 days after becoming 18 years to register with SSS. If the person does not get register then the person may be punished with $250,000 fine and or 5 years of jail. "

Does every one know about this besides me?

10 years too old for that, son.

In my many travels to Switzerland, this has always fascinated me:

You don't Invade Switzerland for 2 main reasons:

1. The Alps

2. Everyman, and most women, there are trained to kill your ass with a popsicle stick.

Plus them wurgas kept all of the Jews & Nazis loot from WW2, so nobody wants to fuck with rich kids, they have lawyers-n-shit.

How some of you didn't know about this is beyond my understanding as most high schools will tell you about it your senior year.

If you apply for government loans or grants and shit, you must be registered.

It does not in any way sign you into the military.

It just puts you on a draft list.

The draft was repealed after Vietnam.

Not registering only hurts you.

Go to the post office and do it.
