Louis Murphy became the third Raiders player to be arrested this offseason when he was charged with three misdemeanors in Gainesville, Fla., early Sunday morning, according to the Gainesville Sun.

Murphy was charged with possession of a drug without a valid prescription, failure to obey a police officer and resisting arrest without violence.

Gainesville police said Murphy did not pull over despite being requested to do so and instead drove to a city parking lot, where he and his passengers walked away from his Cadillac Escalade.

Murphy, according to the report, refused to show identification and wouldn't put his hands behind his back when police attempted to put him in handcuffs.

Police said Murphy consented to a search of his vehicle, where officers found a "non-labeled prescription bottle containing 11 individual pills later identified as Viagra."

A fourth-round draft pick out of Florida in 2009, Murphy has been the Raiders' most productive wide receiver over the past two seasons with 75 receptions for 1,130 yards and six touchdowns.

Running back Michael Bush was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Clark County, Ind., on Feb. 12, and tackle Mario Henderson was arrested after a traffic stop in Fort Myers, Fla., on March 17 for carrying a concealed firearm.

Art Murmur hasn't been about art for a while. Now it's just another event where twentysomethings go to see people and vice versa. Way too distracting to actually appreciate what art is there...I don't know, if you end up here on the first Friday of the month it's something to do.

pretty much.

just post up at the corner of 23rd.

I feel like the people who go there to buy art just do it because they have money, they dont even care what it is they're buying. Some hipster girl bought my boy's canvas just because it was red. We easily make 300+ plus a night but it's pretty much just throwing art away.

edit: on a more serious note, there's always good hiking spots/general outdoor shit to do.

I've considered selling stuff there- in fact, I've repeatedly been invited to do so by a couple of the organizers- except I never seem to have anything I want to sell or the $15 to set up a table.

If I ever start sewing or screenprinting on a regular basis again I might do it, but I would go into it with pretty low expectations. I don't think I'd try to sell canvases there.

Speaking as an aging hipster I can't understand what the kids are doing these days or where the hell they get their money from. There can't be that many trust funds out there.
