Fox Mulder
Anyone know if the spike in gas prices will have a positive effect on freight traffic? From what I have read they only expect the prices to keep going up. It seemed that the last time this happened 3 years or so ago I noticed an increase. I assume it wouldn't make much difference on things like grain and coal because thats hauled mostly by rail anyway. But maybe would bring back some of the boxcars. DUDER
yes it will impact trains in a good way for them. But in a bad way for you, it's stupid to cheer on gas prices for trains. Hows your mom going to be able to drive you to the store for paint ? FUCK BUSH
!@#$%
yes it will impact trains in a good way for them. But in a bad way for you, you were so busy trying to sound super smart, you're completely missing the point. that's good though, we don't need anymore morons on the lines. autoteller
In essence, yes. Freight requires MUCH less fuel per ton vs. Semis and such. CSX loves to throw around the fuel figures, i'm sure you can find it after a couple minutes on google. Essentially more companies are going to re-figure their shipping lines, which could just mean way more freight traffic, yet could ALSO inversely effect you via. having more funds to put toward security.
