alloverthetown Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 My son Timothy Guvercin is a UK citizen,currently being held at MCC in New York on credit card fraud charges.Despite only one piece of cctv footage[where his wife is wthdrawing cash]he is being told that he will be charged anything between 15-30 years on 'group conspiracy charges'.This has been an international investigation between the US and the UK,and is run by people my son has never come into contact with,his wife has turned state evidence against him to save herself from time in prison,and so my son[25] is taking the brunt of all this.His state appointed attorney seems to have very little desire to encourage or help my son,in fact after his last consultation my son has threatened suicide as there seems to be no hope for his future.He also overstayed his visa in the US,so is an illegal alien,but he has never been arrested before in either country.We are at our wits end,and wonder if there are any law firms that could give him sound advice about his case,and what would the cost be to us?? Found that on a legal blog... could be bullshit, but dude has a legit address etc. In my state we have an entire deal where we can look up people in the system and see court dates etc (public info) not sure if NY or Federal types of cases have this ability... Shit seems legit as fuck, as far as getting info there etc. He said he sends all this shit to his boy to post on the blog VIA Prison E-mail system etc. Who knows.
