No scene, no graff mags, no internet shit, nothen. But I use to stare at them flicks for days, and to this day they are still good selections. STYLEISKING Posted December 20, 2010 Author Share Posted December 20, 2010 CHINO: In 1994, I began working with The Source magazine as the editor of the “Graf Flix section,” a monthly one-page pictorial located in the back of the magazine that featured graffiti. From the very beginning The Source was reluctant to fuse graffiti with the monthly content, so for the first few months we did the column with the understanding that it could get dropped at any moment. “Graf Flix” soon became one of the more popular sections in the magazine. The column eventually grew into its own section of the magazine called “Bomb Shelter.” I soon had 4-5 pages monthly, two pages for photos and at least another two pages to feature graffiti relevant articles (profiles, Q&As, book/VHS/DVD reviews, products, obituaries).
