I've been to most places in Asia and each country is pretty awesome in it's own way (except Singapore), the thing is though if you're wanting to party and take drugs I wouldn't go anywhere in Asia. As I said before Spain sounds like the spot for you, however the people are generally a bunch of unhelpful cunts, but once you get past that and figure out what's what, you'll love it. A friend of mine is doing Latin America right now and I just got an email from him wanting me to come backpacking with him down there and party our asses off. I did also just finally find what I hope is a live work space so I might spend all my monies on that instead. If I do that I will just make lots of monies and end up going to India at some point in 2011. Also there is this 3 night dubstep run going on in NYC for new years with a New Years day show I might waste a bunch of money going to.
