new zealand was a lovely place.

i had a great time driving around, taking pics..

i didn't have much money so i didn't get to do any of their adventure stuff like bungee or skydiving.. i'll have to go back for that stuff one day.

there was actually tons of construction in christchurch, i would say downtown, every few blocks something was shored up or in the midst of some sort of repair. fucked up roads in some places too. outside of the city though it wasn't evident at all.

i was all psyched to feel an earthquake but no aftershocks (that i noticed) happened while i was there.

a taxi driver told me the city looked way different to him.

i actually went for a wedding. good times.

their version of COPS is SO tame.

looking for a lost old man (they found him)

giving a fine to a drunk teenager

and arresting a guy on an old warrant for stabbing his girlfriend.

weapon, i too couldn't help but thinking the same thing whenever i heard of it or drove by signs for it or whatever. hilarity.

 

Aotearoa. apparently almost no one speaks maori. sounds interesting though

the place is so jampacked with it too. i drove from one end of the south island to the other in about a day.
