I think the producers lined up the trucks, and let the truck's drivers be the spotters for each ride. It's definitely for the show, and I'm sure they're all getting paid well by the network. Fist 666 Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 that shit is serious business. i mentioned this show to my dad and it seemed like he had a ptsd/flashback moment, and no interest in watching the show. we lived in pakistan for much of my early youth and roads like that were definitely used. he and my mother have both told stories of busloads/truckloads/carloads of people dead from going over the sides of those. i still remember the drive from islamabad to karachi as one of the more terrifying things of my life.
