dont know how people really enjoy bookers, 62 percent is just like drinking fire and you get ruined far too quick to enjoy it enough.

bakers on the other hand is a pretty similar taste to bookers, 52 percent and is ridiculously smooth for how strong it is.

i have personally gotten into smokin' aces, it's a cocktail that uses a nice single malt scotch, dom benedictine and grand marnier with burned orange peel and ice...fucking awesome drink to sip on.

So I took the Pepsi challenge over the weekend.

Friday: Whiskey (JD)

Saturday: Scotch (JW Black)

Sunday: Bourbon (Makers)

I took a shot of each before I added a little diet cola to them.

I drank about half of each bottle.

None got me drunk... I even had a bottle of 750ml Malibu Sunday before I started in on the Makers (I was in the pool).

I don't drink whiskey straight, it will take a year or so to develop the palette and tolerance to even want to, the point of this thread was to find a good mixer.

In the end, bourbon won:

I will start exploring the world of bourbon this month.
