REST IN PEACE ALEX..........YOU'LL BE MISSED...COOL DUDE A TRUE GENTLEMAN......MET HIM IN '84 USED TO SEE HIM BENCHING IN THE MID 80'S ON THE 2'S AND 5'S....RAN INTO HIM SEVERAL TIMES UNDER 238TH STREET BRIDGE..ALWAYS WENT ALL OUT ON BLACKBOOKS WHEN HE DID YOUR BLACKBOOK HE DID AT LEAST 3 WHOLE PAGES IN IT....GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN..............

wow this sad news br i met rem back in 1983 he wast painting jean jackets with acrylics and paint pens in a mall he was friends with a friend of mine gremlin tcv and another writer name kerism..well to this day i still paint my graff jackets in acrylics spray paint and paint pens from seeing rems graff jackets back then..well my man rest in peace..and like you alwasy said were just havin fun.

I met REM back in the early '80s and I agree with what others said here, he was very kool and down to earth and mellow. Very nice guy and although I haven't spoken to him since then it's still sad to know that he's gone so early. Peace to you REM311 you had skillz.
