how do you put on the syrup? just drizzle it on the inside of the bread?

yup I drizzle it on the inside of the bread. See. The panini maker toasts the outside of the bread so its crispy and the syrup doesn't soak thru. I stole the idea from the McGriddle. They use 2 syruped pancakes on the outside i use white bread

2 eggs

cheddar cheese

4 pieces of bacon

2 slices of tavern ham

I drizzle maple syrup on 1 piece of bread and hotsauce on the other

im assuming the hotsauce touches the egg, and the ham touches the syrup, maybe the bacon, i dont know.

but that sounds delicious, and seeing as i dont have a panini maker im going to instruct the homeless midget chef at my local eatery to make one. if they make a version and put it on the menu, i will insist they include "abcs" or something similar in the name. in your honor, of course.

edit: do you use kraft singles style cheese or grated?

the hotsauce (cholula) is on the egg side. I dont pile it on there its more

like an evenly dispersed array of drips... and you right about the bacon side

getting the syrup which is grade A maple BTW. Same with the hotsauce tho I

dont put that much on there. Its for flavor.

As far as the cheese is concerned I've tried several types. Kraft

singles is a safe play. You could put the cheese on both pieces of bread

and carefully flip it like a grilled cheese. Panini maker does the same

thing really just it toasts both pieces of bread simultaneously

i think im gonna skip the hotsauce on the first run, mainly because i dont think they would even have hotsauce there other then texas pete and i hate that shit.

ive got some friends getting back from visiting the northeast, il tell them to pick up some legit maple syrup. i heard its super watery, shouldnt be too much of a problem though.

i might try this on a bagel

I'm going to drink a entire pot of coffee.

Then spend about four hours regretting it.

I'm also going to drink up some sort or Robotussin or NyQuil.

Dude is making us breakfast right now.

I think some eggs, hash browns, and soy-based-sausage patties.

I'm not really feeling any food, but I could go for some super potent weed.

Which, combined with my smoking cigarettes...is probably the reason behind needing to drink cough syrup every day.

Usually I have a piece of toast for breakfast every day.

With either peanut or almond butter and honey.

Some sort of fruit.

Yogurt or cottage cheese.

Tea.

It's formulated to keep me full and full of energy so I can ride my bike to work, then work hard all morning.

Sometimes it works.

Sometimes I have to sneak out of work to the bakery and get a soft pretzel.

I just had 32oz of Monster energy drink and a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting for lunch.

It was one of the worst ideas I've had all week.

My stomach is now filled with fire dancing goblins and I have to go watch a group of dudes have a spare rib eating contest.
