It's a sad situation and I do my best to help. I've got three dogs, all from shelters, I'd take in more if I had the room and the ability to care for more than three dogs at a time. If I had more time I'd volunteer, but I do buy food, blankets, cleaning supplies and whatever I can do donate to local shelters and animals care and control here in NYC. I wish more people would do something to try and help out, even if it's something small like donating a bag of food or cat litter. you're doing more than most people do. when i go pick up dogs from people who want to give them up, the fucking reasons i get from them make me want to stab them in their genitals.
