earl broclo ESQ
As always I'm making a fucking music thread. The poll is pretty self explanatory. What era listed is your favorite time in music. I'm overlapping everything because I think that's how it goes.
CakedAndBaked
I liked the 80's 90's and early 2000's for rap & hip hop.

earl broclo ESQ
The mid 80's to early 90's is the Golden Era of hip hop. I picked 60-70's because that's when I think music was at it's best. Not to mention it's where most of the best samples for all the best hip hop came from. But overall it was all top notch for all genres of music.

tutleone
i think the golden "golden" years in hiphop were from like 92-96.. its hard to say that cuz Capital Punishment came out in what.. 98? n that shit was legit.. i think rock totally died out in 2001-2002.. its all been recycled bullshit with theyre supposed to be sullen band names.. "as i lay dying" "august burns red" shit is so gayyyyy
Gnarly Sheen
60's 70's was good for real hard psych and blues rock. 80's was good for punk and hardcore. fucking early 90's hip hop kills it! 2000's has a lot of good shit, but goddamn mass consumerism and shitty music. It's always been there, terrible bands spoon fed to the public, but the 00's it took a new turn.

EarToTheGround
1990-2010 IMO the best punk/crust/hardcore/thrash/metal/grind/shoegaze/dubstep/experimental/hip-hop/trip-hop/you-name-it came out in that zone. Also exactly spans how long I've been playing music.

`Melinoe
This is so hard... Early 2000's for nu jazz and all of that. 20's and 30's for jazz <3 60's-70's for early heavy rock/classic rock and of course all the funk and jazz. 80's - 90's for mildly good pop, amazing hip hop, and of course the garage/house scene oh and ACID JAZZ. So I really don't know ;____;
